Use your iPad or phone as the control wheel.
Rotate like a wheel to roll. Tip the top edge away from you to descend, toward you to climb. Calibrating tilt turns off altitude hold. Return to neutral to let the control rate settle. On iPad, enable Rotation Lock in landscape before flying.
iPad: for uninterrupted banking, turn on Rotation Lock in Control Center while holding landscape, then return here.
Return to 090°. Use buttons or enable phone tilt.
180° out. 180° back.
Capture 45° bank, roll out on 270°, then reverse direction and return to 090°.
Top toward you: nose up. Top away: nose down.
Start flying opens the fitted cockpit.
Manual pitch and throttle by default. Hold controls to maneuver. *6-second altitude trend is a training aid; throttle % is a control setting, not N1.
Ground path · north up
Green: over the ground. Dashed: through the air. Same maneuver, different paths in wind.
Which way, and how far?
Read the airplane’s bank from the display. Choose its direction and angle.
Continuous practice · leave and resume any time.
Controls & flight model
The sky pointer moves opposite your bank against a fixed scale. The compass card rotates under the fixed airplane. White is heading; green is ground track; magenta is the rollout target.
Hold A/D or the roll buttons. W/S controls pitch and takes over from altitude hold. Space pauses. Tilt device uses the same control response after Set neutral. Neutral input lets the roll rate settle; it does not instantly stop the aircraft. Begin rollout before the target.
Altitude hold and speed hold are optional training assists. Manual pitch must supply extra lift in a bank; manual thrust must cover increased drag. Wind is a moving air mass, not an automatic bank command. Light turbulence is a separate option.
For iPad, enable Rotation Lock in landscape before tilt practice. This model uses coordinated-turn physics and simplified lift, drag, density and control response. It is not a validated 757/767 simulator or an airline maneuver standard.
